Andrei calls himself ‘a non-professional ‘model.’ Originally from Russia, the 6-0, 175lb 30 year old advanced degree college student, is very straight forward and thus a pleasure to work with. On this particular shoot we put him through the ringer…. jumping over and over again in a make shift dining room studio.

Ok I apologise. This was one of my first shoots and I think the unbuttoned pants are tacky. If I could shoot this again, I would have left the pants buttoned.
As I was trying to shoot Model Andrei A in mid air, he kept leaping off of the set too fast or in the wrong position, so we tried prepositioning him in place and failed.
Next I had Andrei jump in place, but the light wasn't right.... so a few more tweaks had to be made.
Finally we got the light just right and the ties in all the right places.

He looks like a professional dancer in the tie shots. I like the one with the lighting equipment in it just as much as the finished shot, they’re both snazzy.
