Chicago Photographer John Gress

Andrei and Julius asked me to do a shoot for them.. it was way outside of the box for me, but I enjoyed the challenge. Shooting a lust series for the two of them sparked my interests because I could use both my photojournalistic and lighting skills at the same time. Just as I had told the stories of serious topics like dwarf wrestling and a church for crack whores, I decided to tell the story of a couple in the throws of passion through a series of pictures with a beginning, middle and end. The shoot was easy, but executing the edit was the most difficult part of the process. After this shoot gained so much wide spread critical acclaim, I began a series of similar essays.
