I love when models suggest early call times, because the light is always better before 10am. However, I’m always wary to set early call times, because often times models flake… why get up early for a let down. But this time, even though I knew I would be hung over at 8:30am on a Saturday following a night on the town in Cincinnati, I set my alarm for 7:30am and looked forward to meeting model Quentin Taylor.

"It's funny how in a industry like modeling they want you to be perfect and don't want you to have tattoos..., I feel like not being perfect is being perfect!" proclaimed model Quentin Taylor. When asked about his ink Taylor responded, "Since I've been around black people half my life and also white people half my life, I feel that everyone is equal... I don't mind (that) I'm different and I like the fact that I am the way I am. The word olahm is Hebrew for forever. I got it because when people do things to others, it is forever."

With no MUA or assistant, Model Quentin Taylor had to mist himself down. When I do shoots out of town I sometimes end up working alone, because I don't have reliable people there to work with.

"The photo shoot.. was a lot of fun (even though) it was windy and it kept messing up the reflector. (It) was funny (when) I got hit in the face with it lol !!" - model Quentin Taylor
