PJ

After living in Chicago for almost 7 years, I have only seen the summer sun rise on Lake Michigan twice. I had always wanted to do a shoot at sunrise, but I was always fearful that the model would flake. A few weeks ago I tried to do a shoot, but I fell back a sleep and the model was messaging me on facebook, instead of calling me…… so we missed each other. However, this past weekend, I made sure I was out of bed on time by setting one alarm for 4:30am and the second alarm for 4:40am. I had lined up to models for the shoot, just in case one of them flaked… and they did. However, what you see below is that magic Make-up Artist Brandon Phillips and I made with model PJ at a time when most people were still snoozing.

Joshua R

I first worked with Joshua R on the Dining Out for Life shoot…. a few weeks later he wanted to do a solo shoot. I must admit I was skeptical…. I thought his look was too commercial….. boy was I wrong.

Bretton H

As you will see in the video, Bretton H is one of the few people I have photographed who are my height 1.93m (6-4).

In case you were counting…. I think there are 109 tennis balls in the frame.

Rodrigo Sodre

Rodrigo is amazing. The 26-year-old Brazilian was nice enough to go to the beach with us, even though it was near freezing.
